It's November already. I flip the pages of my agenda (two pages represent a week) and I get mighty close to January. February is when I get to visit Natalie, my girlfriend. So, I have to say time is going by rather fast.
Sacramento is seeing sparks of coldness now. When my toes yearn for more warmth than what the blanket is allocating, winter is here. Flood season is coming upon us. Did you know that Sacramento's chances of having a devastating flood is number 2 in the nation. Two majors (the Sacramento and the American) rivers and the Delta run through this city and have a definite role in a floodless Sacramento region.
This reminds me that I might have to purchase some rain gear. I trek approx. 12 miles a day on my bicicleta to/from work. The trek mostly covers the American River Bike Trail, however, there are no overhangs. Notaone. Maybe if I recollect enough about how I had to bike in Oregon's rain last year to get to school, it might make me want to buy the gear with urgency.
Work is well. I teach by my lonesome next week which will be my first time. I will be teaching the most introductory disaster class which is named Introduction to Disaster Services. It's a three-hour run with activities and videos so I won't have to speak the whole time. I enjoy teaching. This experience of teaching classes has possibly provided me a new platform for the future. Teaching.
My friend Tosh invited me to go attend a conference in Los Angeles this weekend. Likely, he and I will venture through Hollywood which is close to where the conference is being held. I spent 8 months in Hollywood's culture. It'll cool to check out the places I've been to and had some many experiences- good, bad, terrible, and the terrific.
